Old Sac’s Theatre of Lights

1920

At 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. every Thursday through Sunday (with the exception of Christmas Day), Old Sacramento is putting on a show—it’s free Theatre of Lights presentation. Not only will the 20-minute show include a symphony of lights, sounds and visual effects, but it also features “Mark Twain’s” rendition of ‘Twas the Night before Christmas—first introduced in Sacramento in 1857 (pretty cool, huh?). You can either get a sneak peek of what’s in store thanks to YouTube, or wait and be surprised! Whether you peek at what’s in store or not, I highly recommend heading down to Old Sac for this!
