Let the good times roll in Old Sacramento this Mardi Gras. Presented by the Old Sacramento Business Association and sponsored by Eagle 96.9 FM and the City of Sacramento Parking, this Mardi Gras celebration is going to be as close as you can get to a New Orleans-style party here in Sacramento. Jazz, blues, classic rock and Cajun music will fill the cobblestone streets, as will the smell of sizzling shrimp and classic New Orleans food. Buy a special VIP pass and you’ll have access to all of the live music events, no cover charge at any of the bars, the ability to hop to the front of the line at every venue, free goodies, and meal and drink specials at participating restaurants and bars. And if you drink a few too many Sazeracs (New Orleans’ most iconic drink), don’t stress it. Ticketholders get cab and hotel deals, too. But be warned, this event has been very popular in the past, so get your tickets early to guarantee a night of fun. For more information, see here.
