New Belgium’s Clips of Faith

1954

A few months back, I blogged about a unique opportunity for amateur filmmakers. Would-be filmmakers were asked to submit a short film, which, if selected, would be considered for the upcoming New Belgium’s Clips of Faith, an 18-city tour that combines movies and beer while raising money for charity.

Did you submit a film? Was it selected?

Regardless, head out to Central Park in Davis, located on B Street between third and fourth streets, this Friday, Aug. 10 for the third annual New Belgium’s Clips of Faith tour. You’ll enjoy an evening of movie-watching under the stars while enjoying some great beers courtesy of New Belgium Brewing (the maker of Fat Tire Amber Ale).

Admission is free and the brews run $1.25 for a 3 ounce sample to $5 for 12 ounces. Proceeds from the beer and merchandise benefit Davis Bicycles! and the Davis Bicycle Collective.

So bring your blankets, low-back chairs and food if you’d like; just no alcohol. (“Leave that to us,” say the Clips of Faith folks.)

The fun starts at 7:30 p.m. Click here for more information.
