New Belgium Brewing’s annual Clips Beer & Film Tour is making a stop in our neck of the woods this year. Davis will be playing host to this cross-country beer festival, where guests will be able to try strange and rare beers chosen for their pairing with fan-created short films. Now in its fifth year, the Clips Beers and & Film Tour has raised nearly $370,000 for local charities. In fact, 100 percent of the beer sales at each stop of the festival will benefit a local nonprofit working to improve the community. Guests can purchase 3 ounce samples of beers, or 12 ounce pours. New Belgium will be offering some of the odder beers in the collection, included a beer brewed with yuzu, a coconut curry Hefeweizen, and a dry hopped sour ale. Along with beers, guests can also chow down on food from local vendors and play games and enter contests hosted on the park grounds. And once the sun sets, everyone can settle down on lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the short films from amateur filmmakers around the country. Support the Davis community and enjoy a lively evening of beer, food and films. For more information, see here.
