You can trade in your old look for a sleeker, 2010 model. Perhaps that’s why Federico Beauty Institute is calling January “Model’s Month,” where services are offered at 50 percent off. So you may choose practically any item from the school’s menu—hair styling, facials, mani-pedis, makeup—and indulge at a really nice price. Students perform all services under the supervision of instructors, but there’s no amateur work done here. And it’s no bare-bones facility, either; the waiting and treatment rooms are serenely appointed.
