Friday, April 29, the 9th Annual Celebrity Chef Challenge will be held at the California Auto Museum. Pitting cooking chops against one another will be some of the best chefs in the region, including Evan Elsberry from Evan’s Kitchen and Mark Liberman of Black Sheep Butchery. In an Iron Chef-style competition, the chefs will make the best meals they can from secret ingredients. But that’s not all; attendees can sample great food, wine, and beer from a slew of vendors. This year will also feature some of the most creative cake designers around in a “cake war” judged by “Cakegrrl” Kristy DeVaney and yours truly. Even better, proceeds go to InAlliance, a local nonprofit that provides programs for people with developmental disabilities.
