Independence Day Celebrations


Celebrating Independence Day with firecrackers at home can be fun, but why not see the real thing for cheap—even free? With Fourth of July right around the corner, Sacramento magazine has compiled a list of places to go during the holiday weekend to celebrate the country’s 239th year of independence.

El Dorado Hills Town Center, July 3 —Fireworks and Freedom Concert, live bands, kids’ zone, fireworks display and more, 7–11 p.m., 4364 Town Center Blvd., El Dorado Hills. Free admission, fee for kids’ zone activities. (
