Today, May 9, marks the fifth anniversary and beginning of this year’s In the Flow Festival 2012 in midtown Sacramento. This six-day music festival showcases more than 35 jazz, blues, rock and other creative musical acts at participating venues throughout midtown. One of the best parts? All of the locations are walkable (and bikeable!).
The festival, produced by local guitarist Ross Hammond, was created in hopes of bringing out the unknown and/or unrecognized talents around Sacramento. The festival is Hammond’s way of celebrating both creative music and art. So whether you’re in the mood for jazz, poetry and spoken word, or electronic and blues, there is something for all artistic minds to appreciate. Please see website for full list of venues and information.
