Love Mexican food but wish you knew how to make your favorite dishes healthier? You’re in luck. One of the many activities at this Sunday’s health fair in Woodland is on how to make traditional Mexican fare using healthier ingredients and lighter cooking methods. The free event—held at Woodland High School, 21 N. West St.—is hosted by the Network for a Healthy California-Gold Country Region Latino Campaign and Tzu Chi Foundation in commemoration of Latino Health Awareness Month. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
