Feeling like you want to contribute to the Haiti relief effort, but don’t know where to turn? If you’d like to do more than donate online, consider gathering with a crowd tonight at the midtown Caribbean/Cajun restaurant Celestin’s (located on K street at 18th) from 5 to 7 p.m. “Hundreds” are expected to gather, according to Capital Public Radio.
Restaurant founders Patrick and Phoebe Celestin are natives of Port au Prince, Haiti. The restaurant is now managed by their son and his wife.
