Spring is here, and that means it’s time to get gardening! UC Davis will host a plant sale on Saturday, April 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in its Arboretum Teaching Nursery on Garrod Drive. The sale will feature hundreds of different kinds of plants, most of which have been grown in Davis and will thrive in Central Valley conditions, including newly introduced and unusual plants that are not available in commercial nurseries. This sale has a special focus on plants for water-saving gardens. Master Gardeners and arboretum experts will be available to advise on the best plants for shoppers’ garden conditions.
