Then you’ve gotta head to the Crest Theatre at 1013 K St. tonight at 7 p.m. to meet their author, Dave Eggers. (Well, to be fair, he co-wrote Away We Go with his wife, Vendela Vida.)
Eggers will not only discuss his notable works such as these—he’ll also talk about his new book, Zeitoun, a story of one man’s experience after Hurricane Katrina. This event is free, and is expected to fill the Crest, so if you want to listen to Eggers, get there early! Doors open at 6:45 p.m., and copies of Zeitoun will be available for sale and signing at the program’s end.
