It’ll be “one if by land, two if by sea”—or something like that—at Dive Bar’s Coastal Carnival, which will add some sizzle to the shenanigans on K Street on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 20 and 21. While the main attraction is the underwater circus performed by professional mermaids in the bar’s fantastic 40-foot-long aquarium, there will also be some fun land-based activities throughout the night, including carnival games and circus acts. There are two shows nightly, at 9:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. But be sure to arrive early: The Dive Bar is a happening spot. And—in case we need to say it—this is a 21+ only show.
