Clips of Faith Beer and Film Tour

Like watching movies? Enjoy a good brew? Eager to spend more time taking advantage of the area’s beautiful summer evenings? Then you might want to check out the Clips of Faith Beer and Film Tour, which comes to Davis this Friday. The festival is sponsored by New Belgium Brewing, the outfit that makes Fat Tire Amber Ale, Ranger IPA, Blue Paddle Pilsner and more, and according to the information we have, “features independent films by New Belgium’s filmmaking friends.” What does this mean to you? You get to enjoy some great indy flicks and drink some beer; food will be available from local vendors. (You can also bring your own.) The event takes place at Central Park and starts at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and prices for beer run $1.25 to $5. Proceeds benefit Davis Bicycles! and the Davis Bike Collective, two organizations that, in a nutshell, work to promote safe cycling in and around Davis. Click here for more information on the event. And don’t forget your low-back chairs and blankets.
