The Crocker Art Museum will host Neo-Crocker 2010 this Saturday evening, Oct. 16. Dubbed a “modern culture” party, the event celebrates the opening of the Teel Family Pavilion, a $100 million, 125,000-square-foot expansion that more than triples the museum’s current size. Toast the night away while enjoying live performances by fire dancers, the Sacramento Ballet and RJD2 (whose song “A Beautiful Mine” is the entrancing “Mad Men” theme), as well as a fashion show. Festivities start at 8 p.m. and continue until 2 a.m., and partygoers are requested to don their finest “creative chic” attire. Tickets are $75 in advance (neocrocker.com or 1-800-838-3006) or $95 at the door.
