If you’re planning a foothills wedding, you might want to check out the Celebrate Coloma Wedding Showcase this Saturday, Jan. 15 from 1 to 5 p.m. Meet area wedding vendors and caterers (yes, that means there will be food samplings) and tour seven different venues (including David Girard Vineyards)—all within a mile and half of each other. We’re told there will be prizes at each venue, so be sure to register when you get there. Gentleman, don’t fear, you don’t have to be dragged around from venue to venue. Stop in at the Sierra Nevada House (one of the venues), located on the corner of Highway 49 and Lotus Road, for some “Guy Time,” which translates into beer, football and food.
