Chinese New Year falls on a Sunday this year (Feb. 14), but you can celebrate the Year of the Tiger early! This Saturday, February 6, more than 300 performers, ranging in age from 5 to 89, will dance, sing, spin and ring in the Chinese New Year at Sac State’s University Union. Performances will include martial arts, lion dance, folk songs and folk shows. Exhibitions begin at 11 a.m., and stage performances begin at 12 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults, and children 12 and under are $1. Parking is free in Parking Structure II.
