There aren’t many things that people marvel over more than classic cars. When one is driving on the street, it’s difficult to not look two or three times. If we’re being honest here, that’s probably one of the reasons collectors like to rebuild these classic beauties.
More than 400 of the area’s best classic cars will be on display Aug. 1 at the California Automobile Museum’s 7th annual Car Cruise and Show. The event starts with all of the cars riding together in a non-stop cruise from Sacramento State to Fulton Avenue. Then, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the event will host a car show and music festival.
After walking around staring in amazement at the classics, take a break and listen to live music from the Gig Garcia Band, The Lava Lamps, The Vibrocounts and Real Gone Daddies. There will also be a beer garden and food trucks.
