Looking for something to do this weekend? Then you’re in luck, because 25 wineries in El Dorado wine country are opening their cellars for a weekend of tasting. Called Bring Out the Barrel, this annual event includes a special preview of extraordinary vintages straight from the barrel, as well as older vintages, special wine sales, food pairings and demonstrations. The festivities run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, and a weekend pass to all wineries is $35. If you’re the designated driver, you can get in and enjoy everything but the wine for just $10.
