There seems to have been a rise in frequency of bike-related events in downtown Sacramento, with good reason. However, never before has there been a bike crawl for bacon enthusiasts. Yes, you heard us correctly. The inaugural BLT Bike Crawl will take place on Saturday, July 21.
Grab your two-wheeler and join more than 60 other bacon lovers in riding to local restaurants that will be serving their own signature bite-sized bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches. Vote for your favorites at each spot, get a free BLT Crawl T-shirt and a beer, and don’t miss the after party at Fat Face inside Bows & Arrows for the Bacon Fest Sacramento BLT Week awards presentation.
Not only will you get to indulge in plenty of bacon, but you can also burn some calories on the bike ride. Participating restaurants include The Golden Bear, Bacon & Butter, Mulvaney’s B&L, Magpie Café, Restaurant Thir13en, Grange Restaurant, Blackbird Kitchen and Bar, Shady Lady, and Fat Face at Bows & Arrows.
