This Saturday marks the inaugural Albie Puttin’ Pub Crawl, a nine-hole miniature golf pub crawl that benefits the Albie Aware foundation—a nonprofit whose goal is to make people aware of cancer prevention, detection and treatment.
The crawl starts at 11 a.m. at de Vere’s Irish Pub and also includes Capital Garage, Badlands, Mulvaneys B&L, Torch Club, Streets of London Pub, Bistro 33, L Wine Lounge and Zocalo.
This Go Girl-sponsored event has a shotgun start at noon, and each stop will have a custom golf hole constructed with a bar/Go Girl theme. Those who finish the course will be eligible for prizes—the grand prize is a three-day, two-night trip to Las Vegas. But that’s not all! Wear your best (or worst) golf attire, because prizes will also be given for those—and for the most creative costume and best golf score. You can pre-register here for $20, or if you’d rather wait ’til event day to sign up, walk-ups are $25. Either way, your entry supports a good cause.
