I hear September is a great time to visit Italy. (Really, though, when isn’t it a great time to visit Italy?) Can’t make it to Italy this month? Neither can I, but don’t fret, you can get a taste of Italy this Saturday, Sept. 22 at Christ the King Passionist Retreat Center’s 4th Annual A Taste of Italy.
A live auction, door and raffle prizes, strolling musicians, valet parking, special room rates (for those who want to make a night of it) and, of course, food and wine, all make up the event, which benefits the Citrus Heights-based retreat center’s scholarship fund and facility improvements.
A Taste of Italy takes place from 6 p.m.–9:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person, $90 per couple.
