If you enjoy blues music, head out to Elk Grove for “A Musical History of Blues,” a concert on Saturday, April 27. The concert, hosted by the Elk Grove Committee for the Arts, features the Gary Mendoza Band and Elk Grove student musicians. Blues aficionados might be familiar with the sounds of Mendoza and company; the band performs regularly in the Sacramento area.
