At almost 100 years old, the Sacramento Kennel Club’s Sacramento Dog Show is one of the oldest dog shows in the country. For four days annually, the family-friendly event features competitions, visits with local canine professionals, and information on products and services. While there’s plenty of information on pure breeds, the event helps all dogs: It benefits local dog shelters and promotes dog adoptions. The show takes place at Cal Expo; admission is $8.50–$10.
