1906 Earthquake Living History Day

We’ve all heard about the devastating earthquake and fire that ravaged San Francisco in 1906. On Saturday, April 30, visitors to the California State Capitol Museum (10th Street, between L and N) can get a sense of what that day was like courtesy of docents in period costumes re-creating emotional scenes from the day. Free tours will run every 15 minutes from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information about the museum, log on to capitolmuseum.ca.gov or call (916) 324-0333.
