While it may appeal as much to foodies as to health freaks, selling an array of indulgent ingredients and tantalizing treats, Whole Foods boasts that it’s the world’s largest retailer of natural and organic foods, and it actively seeks out fresh, healthful, minimally processed products, as well as locally grown produce and products without artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, sweeteners and hydrogenated fats.
