Find 'Em: Two Great Local Brews

2497

I recently guzzled two knockout beers from local craft breweries. The first was Track Seven’s Daylight Amber Ale, which starts out with a quick bitter pop on the palate, then morphs into rich, complex layers of toasty, vanilla-kissed caramel flavors that suddenly end in a crisp, bitter finish. Engaging and interesting, this ale would be a great quaff in both warm and cold weather. Ruhstaller’s California Tripel was another fun ride – its significant yeasty aroma and taste was balanced out with subtle, smooth pear and apple flavors and an intriguing hit of maple and malt, finishing cleanly and refreshingly with a lingering taste of citrus.
