Devour Chili and Support the Firefighters Burn Institute This Friday Night

Love chili? Come out Friday night to support the Firefighters Burn Institute, which is hosting its “1st Alarm Chili Cook-Off” charity fundraiser at the California Automobile Museum. The event, which runs from 6-10 p.m., includes not only a chili-tasting (participants vote for their favorite) but also a beer and wine tasting, dessert, a silent auction and raffle, and foot-tapping live music by the Random Shuffle Band (which, incidentally, is composed of three local firefighters and a school teacher). All proceeds from the event benefit the Firefighters Burn Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing recovery and support services to both burn survivors and those who love and care for them. Tickets cost $30 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. For more information visit The Firefighters Burn Institute’s website or Facebook page
