Check It Out: Ernesto's Mariachi Thursdays

I’ve always been a fan of cheery Ernesto’s Mexican Food on 16^th Street. But it was an extra treat to drop in on a recent Thursday night and encounter a live mariachi band strolling through the small restaurant, belting out traditional tunes and livening up the atmosphere. And while the music made conversation difficult (we even had to put our hands over our ears on a few occasions), it made for a decidedly festive evening. The mariachi band is featured each Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
