Attention, all bakers (and sweet tooths)—The Atomic Angels’ fourth annual Pie Drive, benefiting Sacramento Loaves & Fishes, will be held Sunday, Nov. 23. The price of admission to this unique event? A pie—either your favorite homemade variety or a store-bought version—which will end up as a Thanksgiving dessert for the homeless. The Atomic Angels, a “vintage inspired women’s charity group,” hosts this event each year to provide a sweet ending to Loaves and Fishes’ traditional Thanksgiving meal, which nourishes a thousand people in need. There are some fun perks for your pie donation—including access to a wonderful holiday shopping opportunity (the event features a lineup of premier crafters and artists), as well as food, drinks and live music.
Date: Sunday, Nov. 23
Time: noon to 3 p.m.
Location: Back 9 Sports Bar & Grill, Citrus Heights
