The Western States Barbecue Association held its second annual championship cook-off at The Shrine Center in Sacramento. Attendees enjoyed barbecue fare and beverages, participated in a pig-calling contest and cheered on 25 teams of six, each representing local businesses, as they cooked and grilled. Animal House provided musical entertainment. Proceeds benefited Shriners Hospitals for Children and Ben Ali Shrine.
