The Artery presents a very special mother and daughter art exhibit. Painter and sculptor Cathie James-Robinson and painter Amanda Cadelago use nature as their common theme, each showing their unique style.

Cathie presents nature in many forms from 2D to 3D, from zooming in closely to painting full panoramic landscapes. For this exhibit she created companion clay sculptures to go with her vibrant, detailed paintings that focus on local habitats and wildlife. Having shared a lifetime love of creating art with her daughter, she states, “I am very proud and beyond excited to share this art show with Amanda!”

Amanda explores the splendor of California’s central coast. Her acrylic paintings capture flora and undulating rock formations set amidst the ever changing sea. Each moment invites the viewer to go on a journey through some of her most recent experiences.
