They have recorded 6 CDs, toured internationally, and have been featured in a major motion picture. Machaira currently hosts Live At Macharia’s House at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_2eojoSgKJKcF_FzMd-iTg.
Special guest Amy Ayres and her band open. Amy is an accomplished singer/songwriter whose show-stopping style delivers fresh takes on a spectrum from classic hymns to rock. Her band is comprised of seasoned musicians that have played with many well-known artists such as Ricky Skaggs and Amy Grant.
Acres of Hope is a unique faith-based, God-centered program serving women and children. It walks families through the process of change, healing, and growth that they need to completely overcome the cycles of homelessness, trauma, addiction, and poverty. This organization uses a holistic approach that addresses whole-person, whole-family health. As a result, families graduating Acres of Hope are Mentally, Emotionally, Spiritually, Bodily, and Relationally Strong. These ‘5 Strengths’ prepare them for a successful life after Acres of Hope.
All proceeds for this concert will go to Acres of Hope. We encourage you to be part of this important event, you will have a great time!
