Knee Deep Brewing Company is a family-owned Microbrewery that was born in the summer of 2010. In that first year our beer was “contract brewed” in a small brewery in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Those initial batches were in kegs only and were sold in the Reno Nevada market. In 2011 we transferred our contract brewing to two breweries in the San Francisco Bay Area. Simultaneous to that we reached agreement to lease the former Beermann’s Brewery in Lincoln, CA. In mid 2011 we began brewing in the Lincoln facility and by the following year all our beers were brewed “in house”. In those early years we were shipping only to Nevada, Arizona and throughout California.
Knee Deep beers have received numerous awards over the past 10 years, in various events ranging from local and regional to national and international. (Our collection of awards can be viewed in our Tap Room in Auburn) The Knee Deep brand is recognized across the country, as well as in several other countries and we are known for the quality and consistency of our IPA’s and other styles. We take pride in brewing outstanding craft beers. Fast forward to 2020 and we’re now in a 37,000 sq ft brewery, our 15 BBL system has been replaced with a 40 BBL brewhouse, as well as a 10BBL pilot system. Our 60 and 90 BBL fermenters are no overshadowed by multiple 120 BBL fermenters. “Loading Dock Fridays” are gone, but not forgotten.

Acoustic Set: Roasted Potatoes and Bacon Bits tossed in Vinaigrette made with Olive Oil, Dijon Mustard, and Old Bay Seasoning. Paired with Deep Clarity IPA
Greatest Hits: Smoked Brisket drizzled with House Made BBQ Beer Sauce, served with a side of Cole Slaw and Mac n Cheese. Paired with Deep Haze IPA
Encore: Mini Chocolate Cake topped with a Mixed Berry Compote. Paired with Raspberry Mocha Cream Stout.
