The Artery is pleased to present DIVERGENT, An Exhibition of Form and Shadow, featuring new gourd sculptures by Louise McGowan Bezark. STEM, one of her new series, uses the twist and angle of the gourd’s natural stem as a feature. Her love of color, texture and form shows in one of her favorite pieces, Divergence. Louise has also expanded her use of open carving and piercing of gourds in a new LIT Series of illuminated pieces. Her MICRO series showcases precious little lidded vessels, a favorite of collectors.
The Artery, 207 G Street, Davis, CA is open 7 days a week. Monday through Saturday: 10-6, Sunday: 12-5. The Artery will be open from 7 to 9 pm, April 14 for the reception of “Divergent, An Exhibition of Form and Shadow.”
