2022 Sacramento Asian Pacific Film Festival

The 2022 Sacramento Asian Pacific Film Festival is excited to return for our 6th celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) voices and stories both virtual and in-person!
Presented by the Sacramento Asian Pacific Cultural Village on May 21-22, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., nine screenings will explore this year’s Festival themes of Black and Asian Solidarity, Culture and Belonging, Food and Family, and Justice and Courage.
Featured films on Saturday, May 21 include a Special Presentation of Minari and Official Selections including Not Your Model Minority, Reparations, Blurring the Color Line, and Lumpia with a Vengeance.
Featured films on Sunday, May 22 include The Donut King, Waikiki, Ricochet, and Free Chol Soo Lee, with a special presentation honoring former Sacramento Union investigative journalist K.W. Lee, whose work gained freedom for Chol Soo Lee, wrongly convicted of a murder he did not commit.
Tickets & Passes can be purchased for individual screenings, full day passes, or two-day, full festival passes. Vaccination and ID required. Student ID may be requested. Seniors are 62 years young and up. This event is wheelchair accessible. Assistive listening devices may be available upon request.
