The club represents a rare coalescence of a central downtown location, dazzlingly sophisticated interiors and exteriors, intriguing libations (the drink of the moment is The Girl’s Best Friend, a twist on the Champagne cocktail featuring Chambord and peach schnapps), and a nonstop selection of music that changes every night. Friday nights, Eddie Edul, a 20-year veteran behind the turntables, keeps the mix fresh by throwing records that people haven’t heard in years in with songs that people just plain haven’t heard. Saturdays, Jus James spins tunes from the ’70s through the present. You can see why this club pulsates with energy when the moon is high.
