During November and December, customers stand in line without complaint to stock up on boxes of their family favorites. After all, what would Thanksgiving or Christmas be without a box of See’s awesome truffles or nuts and chews on the sideboard? A See’s store is like the place that time forgot, with its old-fashioned white-and-black color scheme and its salesladies (and they are all ladies) dressed in prim white uniforms that make them look like nurses from the 1940s. One of the best parts of shopping at See’s: when one of those salesladies presses a sample chocolate into your hand, no matter how small your purchase.
