A week’s stay in a restored 18th century village house in Provence. A paella party for 10 at Berryessa Gap Vineyards. A private cocktail class at Hawks Public House. Those are just a few of the items on offer in a silent auction next weekend as part of The Village Feast, an annual fundraiser for Davis Farm to School and Les Dames d’Escoffier Sacramento.

Normally an in-person event featuring a “grand aioli”-style lunch in Davis’ Central Park, The Village Feast will be held online this year because of the pandemic. The silent auction,  hosted by the Auctria platform, is already underway. Auction items include “an old-fashioned holiday meal” by chef Jonathan Moon, a private dinner for eight at Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters, a four-course dinner for six with wine pairings at Allora, a sushi-rolling class for six and numerous food and wine products.

To participate in the auction, which ends Oct.17, register at The Village Feast. To view the auction catalog, go to the online auction page.

The online Village Feast will be held on Zoom from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17. Registration is free. The Davis Food Co-Op, Farm Fresh to You, Bella Bru and Hawk’s Provisions + Public House are selling “feast” packages to enjoy at home during the event.
