Space07 Salon will host The Big Little Market—an indoor marketplace of wares from independent makers, designers and artists—on Sunday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Eden B. Jones, one of the event’s founders, describes it as “a super safe indoor market featuring local people we want to support.” Ceramics, jewelry, fresh and dried florals, candles, perfume, plants and ice-dyed vintage clothing will be sold.
Jones and two collaborators started the monthly market last November as a response to the pandemic. “It features people whose work we want to support, and it lets them connect locally with a lot of people,” she says. The market has been held indoors since November but will eventually move outdoors, where it can accommodate more vendors and shoppers.
The Big Little Market takes place on the third Sunday of each month. This month’s vendors include Victoria Blake Ceramics, Tula in Bloom, Right Side Hand, Wave Fragrance, Violet Sunset Creative, and Plantura. There will be a photo booth for taking Mother’s Day pictures and a workshop where customers can creative their own dried floral arrangements.
