Legendary restaurateur Randy Paragary will be remembered at a memorial service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Trinity Cathedral.
Paragary, who created more than 40 restaurants during his long and influential career, died on Aug. 14 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. His death was mourned by people in the food, business and civic communities. He was laid to rest in a private ceremony on Aug. 28 at East Lawn Cemetery.
The memorial service will be open to the public. The cathedral doors will open at 9:15 a.m. For overflow guests, a live feed of the ceremony will be shown at the B Street Theatre main stage next door to the cathedral at 2620 Capitol Ave.
