Easter egg hunts are always an exciting springtime event, filled with giggles and laughs, candy, prizes and hidden treasures. But have you heard of a floating egg hunt?
On April 3 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. the Auburn Recreation District will be hosting its first floating egg hunt at the Sierra Pool (123 Recreation Drive). For $3 per family, children and parents can participate in family games and activities, enjoy food from Drewski’s Hot Rod Kitchen food truck and swim for 1,000 decorated eggs.
Up to eight children will be allowed in the pool at a time, each in their own lane. Children who can not yet swim on their own must be accompanied by an adult in the shallow pool.
There will be food, drinks, prizes for each kid and fun for all ages. Let’s hope for a sunny day.
