Alin graduated from McGeorge School of Law and started his legal career with the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office. As a Deputy District Attorney, he gained invaluable experience in the courtroom and learned the mindset of a prosecutor. In 2010, he went on to enter private practice, using his expertise to help clients during their most challenging times. Alin is now recognized as an aggressive and knowledgeable defense attorney. When called on for legal commentary by various news agencies, he does not shy away from speaking the truth. He confidently takes on some of the most difficult cases, including complex federal white collar, vehicular manslaughter, domestic violence and murder.

Alin challenged the prosecution and won an acquittal on all felony domestic violence and assault charges filed against a former NFL player. He also successfully defended a potential juror against perjury charges filed after jury selection in a death penalty case. Alin has obtained several other not guilty verdicts for his clients, including a young man accused of armed robbery, a client charged with burglary and another with sexual assault. When trial is the only option, Alin knows how to get his clients the justice they deserve.
