Sorry I've been away for so long, dear readers. The new issue of Our Wedding is about to go off to the printer any day now and so we've been swamped around here. Plenty of exciting things are happening that I will get up on the blog, but for now, I want to share an image that may not make it in print from our fashion shoot at Grand Island Mansion. This is Amber Sims, a model from Cast Images, shot by our amazing fashion photogs Andrew Weeks Photography. (Many thanks to Andrew and his assistants Jenny and Mike. We all put in 12 hour days to make it happen!) Can't wait for you all to see the result of the shoot in print!

My one year wedding anniversary is this Sunday! I can't believe it. My husband and I are going back up to Tahoe, where we were married, and are going to have dinner at the restaurant where we held our recption, the Riva Grill in South Shore. One year passes so quickly, and the wedding seemed so difficult but the marriage is so easy. Being married to your best friend makes life better than you can imagine. I know it's cheesy but true. Now I just have to see if I can come up with a prank gift for the one year-- it's paper. The sports section of the paper?
PS - This is a picture of me and my husband at my sister's wedding. Already acting like an old married couple. :)
