If you have the gumption (and the stomach for it) the day after Thanksgiving is the symbolic gun shot marking the beginning of the holiday season. Arden Fair Mall will open its doors at 6 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. throughout the Thanksgiving weekend. If you make it to the mall between 6 a.m.–10 a.m. there will be a scavenger hunt, discounts for early bird shoppers and free coffee. The Folsom Premium Outlets will kick-off the shopping madness starting at midnight Friday. This allows for shopping shortly after all the eating and relaxing on Thanksgiving Day. Family time
