Raley’s/Bel Air

One supermarket is pretty much like another, right? Not to the legions of Raley’s and Bel Air fans in the Sacramento region. This local, family-owned chain based in West Sac is known for its excellent customer service and for its top-notch produce and meat departments. Stores are large, clean and well laid-out, with wide aisles (no shopping cart traffic jams here) and a comprehensive selection of food, pharmacy and hardware items.

Raley's is fine but it's a corporate, generic grocery store. For a real, genuine family grocery store that's been in Sacramento for decades, go to Taylor's Market! http://www.taylorsmarket.com
