When one hears the word “automobile” one rarely thinks of motorcycles. The two-wheeled thrill machines are usually in a league of their own, but the California Automobile Museum is doing its best to bridge that gap. They’ve extended their motorbike show, Born to Ride: Motorbikes Past and Present, until March 19, giving the public an extra chance to see some truly unique hogs, sport bikes and cruisers. Make sure to check out the 1912 Harley Davidson once owned by Steve McQueen, or the new Aprilia RSV4, named 2010 “Bike of the Year” by Cycle World magazine.

Where: California Automobile Museum, 2200 Front St., Sacramento
When: Daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tickets: $8 for adults, $7 seniors, $4 students, free for kids younger than 5
