Amador Wine Fest March 6 and 7

Rainy weather getting you down? Don’t despair. The Amador Vintners Association, which represents 34 Amador County wineries, is ready to keep you warm and cozy with a weekend of wine, food and fun during its annual “Behind the Cellar Door” winter wine extravaganza.


The wine event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine, and will feature wine tastings, gourmet foods, live music and seminars designed to enhance your appreciation of fine wine.


Presale tickets, ranging from $10 to $50, must be purchased by March 2. You can purchase tickets during the event for an additional $5 per day. No children are allowed at the event.
