Some Farmers Markets Will Be Open on the Fourth
For my street’s Fourth of July block party this Saturday, I’m planning to make strawberry and blueberry shortcakes with whipped cream. (Red, white and blue—geddit?) I’ll be buying fresh berries from the farmers market that morning. The markets at Country Club Plaza, Laguna Gateway Center and Central Park in Davis will be open this Saturday, July 4. Note, however, that the Sunrise Mall market will be closed for fireworks setup.
