Asian Pacific Community Counseling held its 27th annual banquet and fund-raiser at the Holiday Villa restaurant. Guests enjoyed dinner and an awards presentation, and musical entertainment by Funky Fresh and North Star. Assemblyman Darrell Steinberg, the keynote speaker, was honored for his involvement in mental-health legislation. KCRA Channel 3Âs Suzanne Phan and APCC Board President Dr. Alan Koike were masters of ceremonies.
